Setting Up Dara: A Quick Guide

Get started with Dara and transform the way your team communicates with our simple setup process

Welcome to Dara!

Here's how to get started:

  1. Begin with the Freemium Plan: Upon installation, you’ll automatically be enrolled in our Freemium Plan. This plan provides your entire workspace with a collective cap of 50 notifications from Dara, which are sent to individuals whenever they use non-inclusive language, encouraging a shift towards more inclusive communication. It’s our way of helping you dip your toes into the inclusive pool.
  2. Invite Dara to Channels: Before Dara can start monitoring channels, you’ll need to invite it to the channels of your choice. There are two ways to do this:
    a. Setup Wizard: During the installation process, you can conveniently add Dara to channels through our Setup Wizard.
    b. Directly Through Slack: Alternatively, you can type /invite @dara in the channel where you wish to have Dara's assistance.
  3. Seamless Login Process: Should you wish to upgrade your plan for added features and unlimited notifications, simply log in to our web application. You can access the login page through Dara’s App Home or by navigating to the top-right corner of our website. The best part? You’ll use your Slack credentials for this, meaning there’s no need to remember yet another username and password.
  4. Upgrade Your Plan: Once logged in, you’ll find an option to upgrade your plan. Choose the one that best suits your needs and follow the on-screen instructions for payment.
  5. Embark on a Journey to Inclusivity: With Dara actively participating in your channels, you are now well on your way to fostering a more inclusive communication environment. Enjoy the experience!
